The sun always shines on TV

My 97 year old grandfather isn't doing very well unfortunately. I need to get my monkey ass up there to see him. Hey, maybe I can use it as an excuse to skip out on the in-laws.

I have a question for you goodly blog reader. Why would someone steal bags full of leaves?
On Saturday I raked up about ten bags full of leaves, and placed them out by the curb. Later in the afternoon I returned from running errands to find all the bags gone. Do they have value? I half expected to get a note reading;

Thanks for the leaves, by the way did ya get the honey?


I raked leaves and put up effing Christmas lights. No, as a matter of fact this isn't the life I envisioned for myself. Much of life is compromise, or defeat.
